Buffalo River Forestry (formerly P&E Logging) is a full-service cutting, processing, hauling (stump-to-dump) operation headquartered on 15 acres north of Glaslyn, Saskatchewan. A family operation with Cree/Blackfoot/Métis roots and majority-Indigenous employees, P&E Logging has been in operation in one form or another since the 1960s. BRDLP announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in 2023, and is proud to run a 100% Nation-owned forestry operation in its traditional territory.

Buffalo River Forestry sends the majority of its harvesting to NorSask Forest Products for processing and export. NorSask, acquired by the Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC) in 1987, is the largest First Nations-owned forest products company in Canada, processing 500,000 cubic metres (m3) of softwood lumber every year. As one of nine MLTC Member Nations, BRDN owns a 10% stake.

Mainstay’s team of experts represents project owners with integrated, on-site services that help maintain safety and quality, manage schedules, and control costs. BRDLP acquired a 51% ownership stake in Mainstay in 2023.
