History
BRDLP is committed to investing in the people of Buffalo River First Nation (BRDN) and building capacity through increased access to training and employment opportunities. Our strategy is guided by our community’s vision and dedicated to sustainable growth that serves BRDN today and for many generations ahead.
In 2024, BRDLP invested almost $350,000 in community through its operations and business development, with funds supporting a range of community and youth initiatives. We want to acknowledge the contributions made by BRDLP Group businesses (Mainstay, Threeosix, and Buffalo River Forestry) and our allies and partners. Through these and other initiatives, BRDLP also supports and prioritizes locally-sourced procurement (e.g., contractors, caterers, etc.) whenever possible.
Some other examples of community events and projects BRDLP supported in its first official year of operations include:
Ec Dev Days
Fish Derby
Treaty Days
Fiddle Fest
Mikey’s Mud Bogs
St. George’s Hill Playground
BRDN School Playground
